EFEKTIVITAS FUN LEARNING BERBASIS WORDWALL TERHADAP HASIL DAN KONSENTRASI BELAJAR MURID KELAS V SD NEGERI BREBES 02

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the low learning outcomes and learning concentration of fifth-grade elementary school students in mathematics, particularly on the topic of perimeter and area of triangles and quadrilaterals. The study aimed to determine the effect of the Fun Learning method assisted by Wordwall media on students’ learning outcomes and learning concentration. This research employed a quantitative approach using a True Experimental Design with a Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design. The population consisted of fifth- grade students, while the sample was selected through purposive sampling and divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and observation sheets measuring students’learning concentration. The collected data were analyzed using prerequisite tests, including normality and homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Fun Learning method assisted by Wordwall media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes and learning concentration compared to conventional learning methods. Students in the experimental class demonstrated higher posttest scores and better concentration levels during the learning process. The interactive and enjoyable learning environment created through Fun Learning and Wordwall encouraged students to participate actively, maintain attention, and understand mathematical concepts more effectively. Therefore, the Fun Learning method assisted by Wordwall media can be considered an effective alternative for improving learning outcomes and learning concentration in elementary mathematics learning.
