PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN POP-UP BOOK “BATIK” TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS IV SD ISLAM KARANGREJO TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of the "Batik" pop-up book learning media on students' learning motivation in Grade IV Mathematics at SD Islam Al-Ikhlas Karangrejo, Tulungagung. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically utilizing the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The research population consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Islam Al-Ikhlas Karangrejo, divided into classes IV A and IV B. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing via the Independent Sample T-Test. The results indicated that the instrument used was valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha value > 0.80. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed, and the homogeneity test confirmed that the data were homogeneous. Hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of $p < 0.001$, which signifies that there was a significant influence of using the "Batik" pop-up book learning media on students' learning motivation. The utilization of engaging, enjoyable, and easy-to-understand pop-up book learning media was proven to foster students' interest and enthusiasm for learning, particularly in Mathematics.
