PERAN MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DALAM MENYIAPKAN GENERASI MUSLIM ERA SOCIETY 5.0 DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 PALU

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of Islamic education management at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu in integrating Islamic values with 21st-century skills, as well as the impact of its implementation in facing challenges and formulating adaptive, innovative, and relevant learning solutions in the Society 5.0 era. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving the school principal, vice principal for curriculum, Islamic religious education teachers, and vocational subject teachers, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and validated through source and technique triangulation. The results show that Islamic education management has played an active role in integrating Islamic values with digital competencies through directed planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring, although this integration remains predominantly at the programmatic level rather than involving fundamental curriculum reform. The implementation of this management also positively impacts the school's readiness to respond to digitalization challenges through technology-based learning innovations grounded in Islamic values, thereby contributing to the achievement of quality and sustainable education in line with SDG 4.
