POLA MURAJA’AH BERBASIS TAHFIDZ PARTNER DALAM MENGUATKAN HAFALAN AL-QUR’AN SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN MASKANUL MUTTAQIN JAMBI

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still low quality of Quran memorization among some students, which is caused by the implementation of independent review (muraja'ah) that is less effective in maintaining the strength of their memorization. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Partner Memorization Review pattern and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at Pondok Pesantren Maskanul Muttaqin Jambi. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected thru observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thru the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the Muraja'ah Tahfidz Partner pattern is carried out thru three stages: the introductory activity, the core activity, and the closing activity. This pattern helps students strengthen their memorization of the Quran thru activities of listening to each other, correcting, and providing motivation, making the review process more effective, active, and enjoyable. Supporting factors include a comfortable learning environment, cooperation among students, active involvement of all students, and the benefits gained by both the reader and the listener of the memorization. On the other hand, inhibiting factors include fatigue from academic activities, a crowded hall atmosphere, reluctance to correct friends, and reduced focus when supervision is less than optimal. Thus, the Muraja'ah Tahfidz Partner model can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of Quran memorization among students in the pesantren environment.
