Abstract

The implementation of computational thinking (CT) in elementary schools still faces challenges due to the limited availability of interactive learning media. This study aimed to develop the board game “Misi Cattito ke Luar Angkasa”, which integrates CT concepts through gameplay and is supported by a picture storybook. The board game was developed using the cycling strategy method with a mixed method approach and was evaluated with 87 third and fourth grade students at SD Pangudi Luhur Ambarawa. The results showed that the board game met the feasibility criteria in terms of theme, game mechanics, visual design, and rulebook. More than 97% of the students gave positive responses regarding ease of use, gameplay experience, and the implementation of CT concepts. Therefore, the board game is considered a feasible alternative learning medium for introducing CT to elementary school students.
