FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB PERILAKU BULLYING PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SDN MERUYA UTARA 02 PAGI

Abstract

Problem statement bullying remains a serious issue in elementary schools, including in class V.A at SDN Meruya Utara 02 Pagi. It takes the form of physical, verbal, relational, and even cyberbullying. Such behavior disrupts  students social interactions, and has negative impacts on both psychological  and academic development. However, the causal factors of bullying, both internal dan external, have not been explored in depth. The purpose of this study is to identify internal and external factors that cause bullying. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that bullying behavior is triggered by peer group dominance, aggressive personal experiences, disharmonious social relationships, and exposure to negative content on social media. These findings confirm that bullying is a complex phenomenon influenced by both internal and external factors. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, schools, and parents is necessary to strengthen supervision, foster positive character development, and create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
