PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBASIS DEEP LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN IPAS

This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model with the Deep Learning approach on students critical thinking skills in the Natural and Social Science (IPAS) subject. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a one-group Pretest-Posttest design, conducted on 21 elementary school students atCirebon City. Data collection was carried out through tests and observation. Data analysis employed normality tests (Shapiro-Wilk), N-Gain tests, and hypothesis testing using Paired Sample T-tests. The results showed that the average Pretest score was 59.8, which increased to 79.9 in the Posttest. The N-Gain value of 0.50 indicated moderate effectiveness. The results of the Paired Sample T-test obtained a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning H0 was rejected. It is concluded that the Problem Based Learning model integrated with Deep Learning has a significant positive effect on students' critical thinking skills in the IPAS subject on the human respiratory system topic.
