PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) PADA MATERI KALIMAT ANJURAN DAN LARANGAN BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 1 JEPUN KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Abstract

The worksheets used in Indonesian language lessons on the topic of sentences expressing advice and prohibitions at SD Negeri 1 Jepun, Tulungagung Regency, are still simple, predominantly black and white, lack supporting illustrations, and do not relate the material to the pupils’ daily lives; consequently, pupils are less engaged and find it difficult to understand the material. This study aims to develop Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) based worksheets on the topic of sentences of advice and prohibition for Year 3 pupils at State Primary School 1 Jepun that meet the criteria of validity and practicality. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) employing the ADDIE development model, comprising the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and lesson implementation observation sheets. The validation results by three experts showed scores of 93.75% from the subject matter expert, 95.45% from the media expert, and 90% from the language expert, all of which were categorised as ‘highly valid’. The results of the practicality test showed student response rates of 89.46% for small groups and 90.2% for large groups, whilst the observation of lesson implementation scored 100%; all of these results were categorised as ‘highly practical’. Consequently, the CTL-based worksheets were deemed valid, practical, and suitable for use in teaching Indonesian language lessons on sentences expressing advice and prohibitions in Year 3 of primary school.
