PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOTAK CAHAYA MULTI-SIFAT PADA MATERI KONSEP SIFAT- SIFAT CAHAYA SISWA KELAS V SD

This research is motivated by the lack of interest of students in the learning process in the subject of Social Studies, especially the material on the properties of light Due to its abstract nature and the lack of use of contextual media in overcoming it, the objectives in this study are (1) To find out the Multi-Properties Light Box Learning Media in the concept material of Light Properties of grade V elementary school students who are valid (2) To find out the Multi-Properties Light Box Learning Media in the Concept mater Practical Light Properties of Grade V Elementary School Students. The type of research is Reseacch aud Development (R&D). The model used ADDIE. The two stages of the trial in this study are one to one, (3 students) and small group (10 students) The research data was obtained through observation, documentation, material, media and language validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The Validation Results carried out by the material experts got a percentage score of 90% with a very valid category, the Validation Results carried out by the Media Expert got a percentage score of 94% with a very valid category. The results of the validation conducted by the linguists found 93.3% with the category of very valid, with an average overall percentage of expert validation of 92.4% proven to be very valid. Meanwhile, in the results of the one-to-one trial, the percentage was 92.3% with the very practical category and the small group got a percentage of 90.27% with the very practical category and in the results of the practicality questionnaire the teacher got a percentage of 90.58% with the very practical category. The conclusion is that the Mullalam light box media has proven to be valid and practical to be used in the learning of IPAS Class V Elementary School
