PENERAPAN PjBL MELALUI MEDIA PASAR ANGKA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN FOKUS BELAJAR BILANGAN SAMPAI 100 KELAS II SD

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve students' learning focus on the topic of numbers up to 100 through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model using the Pasar Angka (Number Market) learning media in Grade II of SDN Sukun 1 Malang. The study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of two cycles, with each cycle including the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 28 second-grade students. Data were collected through observations of students' learning focus, assessments of attitudes and skills, and knowledge tests.

The results showed that the implementation of Project Based Learning supported by the Pasar Angka learning media successfully improved students' learning focus and academic achievement. In Cycle I, the average knowledge score was 75.57, with a learning mastery percentage of 64.3%. After improvements were made in Cycle II, the average score increased to 85.71, while the learning mastery percentage reached 89.3%. In addition, students became more active, focused, and enthusiastic throughout the learning process. Therefore, the implementation of Project Based Learning through the Pasar Angka learning media proved to be effective in enhancing students' learning focus and their understanding of numbers up to 100 in the second grade of elementary school.
