PERAN SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN RUMAH SAKIT DALAM MENDUKUNG KESIAPAN SDM TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PELAYANAN DI BAGIAN PENDAFTARAN PASIEN DI RSU PKU MUHAMMADIYAH ROGOJAMPI TAHUN 2026

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of human resources (HR), the process of use, and the impacts of implementing the Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) in the registration department of PKU Muhammadiyah Rogojampi General Hospital. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving observations, interviews, and documentation collection with 11 informants. The study indicates that human resource preparation is quite good, based on knowledge, skills, attitudes, and routine training. The SIMRS process in the registration department generally follows established procedures, although some technical issues remain, such as system disruptions and reliance on the IT team for resolution. The implementation of SIMRS has had a positive impact on improving service quality, particularly in terms of speed, efficiency, and accuracy of patient data. However, infrastructure issues, such as server failures, are a major obstacle affecting smooth service delivery. Therefore, system quality improvements, better technical training for staff, and faster IT support are needed to ensure the smooth implementation of SIMRS in the hospital.
