MANAJEMEN PARTISIPATIF KEPALA MADRASA DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SANTRI MA DI PONDOK PESANTREN AS’ADIYAH DARUSSALAM BELAWA RAHMAT KABUPATEN PASANGKAYU

This study aims to describe the implementation of participatory management by the madrasah principal and to analyze its implications for improving students' learning achievement at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren As'adiyah Darussalam Belawa Rahmat, Pasangkayu Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation study involving the madrasah principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, pesantren supervisors, and students. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that participatory management was consistently implemented through collective deliberation-based planning, competency-based organizing, collaborative and adaptive implementation, and participatory and continuous evaluation. This implementation produced significant implications for the improvement of educational program quality, teacher commitment and involvement, learning and coaching effectiveness, as well as students' multidimensional learning achievement encompassing academic, religious, skill, and character dimensions. This study demonstrates that a madrasah located in a remote area with limited resources is capable of delivering quality education through effective participatory leadership, in alignment with SDG 4 on inclusive and equitable quality education.
