PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS V DI SD NEGERI 95 PALEMBANG

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students' critical thinking skills in the Pancasila Education subject, "My Indonesian Cultural Diversity," in grade V of Elementary School 95 Palembang. This research was conducted at Elementary School 95 Palembang in grade V.A. The research method used was quantitative with an experimental research type, namely a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study used a purposive sampling technique, with a sample of 25 grade V.A. students. Data analysis techniques in this study included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test. The results of the hypothesis test obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 and the calculated t value > t table, which means H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. This indicates that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model has an effect on students' critical thinking skills in the Cultural Diversity of My Indonesia material for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 95 Palembang. The improvement in students' critical thinking skills is also evident from the average pretest score of 54.60, increasing to 85.00 in the posttest, with an N-Gain score of 0.65 (65%) within the moderate or quite effective criteria
