Pengaruh Interaksi Sosial Terhadap Hubungan Teman Sebaya Pada Siswa Kelas V SDN Socah 1 Bangkalan

This study was motivated by problems in the social interaction of fifth-grade students, such as students who tended to be alone during recess, lacked confidence to initiate conversations, interacted only with certain peer groups, and experienced minor peer conflicts. This study aimed to determine the effect of social interaction on peer relationships among fifth-grade students at Elementary School of Socah 1 Bangkalan. This research used a quantitative approach with 34 students as respondents. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire supported by observation, teacher interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results showed that 47.06% of students were in the very good category, 38.24% in the good category, and 14.71% in the fair category. The regression analysis showed a regression coefficient of 0.730, a significance value of 0.000, and an R Square value of 0.522. These findings indicate that social interaction has a significant effect on peer relationships, with a contribution of 52.2%. Therefore, social interaction among peers needs to be strengthened to support positive and harmonious peer relationships among elementary school students.
