IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA POP-UP BOOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM SISWA KELAS VII SMP SWASTA PELITA RAYA JAMBI

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) among seventh-grade students at SMP Swasta Pelita Raya Jambi due to the teaching being dominated by the lecture method. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes through the use of Pop-Up Book media. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model by Kurt Lewin with four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 17 students. The research results indicate that the use of Pop-Up Book media is capable of improving students' learning outcomes. The average student score increased from 62.47 (pre-cycle) to 73.65 (Cycle I), 79.76 (Cycle II), and 91.29 (Cycle III). The completeness of learning also increased from 52.94% to 100% in Cycle III. Thus, the Pop-Up Book media is effective in enhancing student activity and learning outcomes in PAI subjects.
