Abstract

This study uses the R&D (Research and Development) research method with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) stages. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and interviews conducted at the analysis stage, questionnaires and documentation conducted at the development and implementation stages. Data analysis techniques used are validity analysis, practicality analysis and effectiveness analysis of educational media. The subjects in this study were fifth-grade students of SDN 1 Kandis and the object to be studied was animated video educational media on inorganic waste management. The results of the study showed that the validation test of educational media by three experts in the fields of education and the environment obtained an average percentage score of 94.44% with a very valid category. At the stage of implementing animated video educational media in fifth grade, the average student response score was 91.05%, so the media was declared very practical. Furthermore, an effectiveness test was carried out which obtained an average score of 89.06%, from the results obtained, the animated video educational media was declared very effective. Based on the results obtained, it can be seen that the animated video educational media for inorganic waste management in grade V of SDN 1 Kandis is categorized as valid, practical, and effective for implementation in elementary schools. The animated video educational media can help students understand the material on inorganic waste management.
