ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA INDONESIA BAKU AKIBAT INTERFERENSI BAHASA GAUL DALAM INTERAKSI VERBAL PESERTA DIDIK SDN 69 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

This study aims to analyze standard Indonesian language errors caused by slang interference in the verbal interactions of fifth-grade students at SDN 69 Banda Aceh. The massive shift toward digital platforms has significantly altered students' communication patterns, prioritizing viral internet slang over formal language. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations. The participants included five purposively selected students, one homeroom teacher, and the school principal. The findings indicate two major forms of language errors: the spontaneous insertion of viral lexicons (e.g., mager, gercep, skuba) and morphological reductions without affixes (e.g., kalo, abis, kelen). This language interference is heavily driven by exposure to short-video platforms like TikTok and YouTube, combined with psychosocial motives such as the need for efficiency, social prestige, and blind imitation among peers. To counteract this phenomenon, the school institution has systematically rolled out strategic programs. These institutional efforts focus on morning literacy habituation to train verbal confidence, the optimization of Interactive Flat Panels (IFP) for visual modeling of proper Indonesian, and persuasive enforcement by educators. Continuous synergy across all school programs is deemed crucial to rebuild students' proficiency in formal language.
