PENERAPAN MODEL FLIPPED CLASSROOM DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DI MAN 1 KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model in improving the learning outcomes of class X.9 students in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak at MAN 1 Makassar City. This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students indicated by the low level of learning completeness and the lack of student activity in the learning process. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is implemented in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 31 class X.9 students of MAN 1 Makassar City. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model can improve student activity and learning outcomes. Teacher activity increased from an average score of 3.25 in cycle I to 3.83 in cycle II with a very good category. Student activity also increased from an average score of 2.90 in cycle I to 3.60 in cycle II with a very good category. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage of student learning completion which in the pre-cycle only reached 25.81%, then increased to 51.61% in cycle I, and again increased to 93.54% in cycle II with an average value of 89.58. These results indicate that the research success indicators have been achieved. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Flipped Classroom learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Akidah Akhlak in class X.9 MAN 1 Makassar City.
