Abstract

This article discusses the implications of effective leadership in Islamic education. The study uses a library research method by examining books and relevant scientific articles related to leadership, Islamic educational institutions, and educational quality management. The discussion shows that leadership in Islam is not only a managerial responsibility, but also a moral and spiritual mandate. An effective leader is expected to serve the community, build cooperation, provide direction, and develop the potential of all members of the institution. The characteristics of Islamic leadership are reflected in honesty, trustworthiness, communicative ability, and intelligence, as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad. The effectiveness of leadership in Islamic education is influenced by decision-making style, daily leadership behavior, interpersonal relations, clarity of goals, and the leader's ability to motivate and empower subordinates.
