PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR CIRI-CIRI BANGUN DATAR MENGGUNAKAN MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE MAKE A MATCH DI KELAS IV SD NEGERI 20 INDARUNG

Abstract

The success of the learning process depends on the teacher's quality in designing and implementing learning strategies to achieve the expected results. However, a learning process that tends to be teacher-centered can cause students to be less active during the learning process, resulting in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to describe how the improvement of learning outcomes on the characteristics of flat shapes using the Cooperative Learning model of the Make A Match type in grade IV of SD Negeri 20 Indarung. This study was designed using Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches, following the classroom action research procedure consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted over two cycles. The subjects of this study were 30 fourth-grade students and the fourth-grade homeroom teacher. The results showed an improvement in student learning outcomes. The average knowledge learning outcome increased from 65 in cycle I to 83 in cycle II. The average skills learning outcome increased from 94.5 in cycle I to 97 in cycle II. These results confirm that the use of the Cooperative Learning Make A Match model can effectively improve student learning outcomes and engage students actively in the learning process.
