PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN VAK (VIZUALISATION AUDITORY KINESTHETIC) TERHADAP HASIL KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI KEKAYAAN BUDAYA INDONESIA KELAS IV SDN 17 PALEMBANG

Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of using an appropriate learning model in teaching the subject of Indonesian Cultural Heritage to fourth-grade students at SDN 17 Palembang. The research question in this study is whether the VAK Learning Model affects students’ cognitive learning outcomes related to the Indonesian Cultural Heritage subject in fourth grade at SDN 17 Palembang. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of the VAK Learning Model on students’ cognitive learning outcomes related to the Indonesian Cultural Heritage subject in fourth grade at SDN 17 Palembang. The study population 59 fourth-grade students at SDN 17 Palembang. The sampling technique random sampling based on similar characteristics and homogeneous average scores across the class. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with data collection techniques tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the independent samples t-test. Based on the test results, the average score of the experimental class was 78.97, which was higher than the average score of the control class, which was 58.21. The results of the hypothesis calculation T-hitung​   = 8,176 ≥ T-tabel  = 1,687 taraf significan 0,05.  T-hitung  ≥ T-tabel , showed that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Thus, it can be c significant effect of the application of the VAK Learning Model on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in the “Indonesian Cultural Heritage” unit for 4th grade at SDN 17 Palembang
