ANALISIS SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW TENTANG PERAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA

Abstract

The problem of moral degradation and declining student character has become a serious challenge in modern education. Phenomena such as low discipline, lack of responsibility, dishonest behavior, and misuse of social media indicate the importance of strengthening character education in schools. In this context, Islamic guidance and counseling serves as an approach that integrates religious, moral, and spiritual values in the process of character building among students. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic guidance and counseling in shaping students’ character through a systematic literature review approach. The research employed a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The data were collected from various journals, scientific articles, and previous studies relevant to the topic published between 2018 and 2025. Data analysis techniques included identification, selection, analysis, and synthesis of literature related to the role of Islamic guidance and counseling in student character formation. The findings revealed that Islamic guidance and counseling plays an important role in developing students’ religious character, discipline, honesty, responsibility, and empathy through individual counseling services, group counseling, religious habituation, role modeling, and collaboration between schools and parents. Therefore, Islamic guidance and counseling can be considered a strategic approach in strengthening character education for students in the modern era.
