IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM PENGUSIR HAMA OTOMATIS MENGGUNAKAN SOLAR CELL DAN OUTPUT AUDIO PADA AREA TAMBAK UDANG

Pests are one of the main factors that reduce agricultural productivity. Manual pest control methods still have limitations in terms of effectiveness and the need for human labor. Therefore, this study aims to design an automatic pest repellent system powered by solar energy with audio output as the repellent medium. The system utilizes a solar panel as the main energy source, which is stored in a 12 V battery through a solar charge controller. System control is carried out using an Arduino Uno microcontroller supported by a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor and a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor. The LDR sensor is used to distinguish between day and night conditions so that the system only activates in low-light conditions, while the PIR sensor detects pest movement in the monitored area. When movement is detected, the microcontroller activates the DF Player Mini module to play an audio file through a speaker. The system is mounted on an iron frame with a height of 1.8 meters to support the installation of the solar panel and electronic modules. Testing results show that the battery charging process works properly, the sensors operate consistently, and the audio playback remains stable. Overall, the system can operate independently, efficiently, and has the potential to be applied as an alternative solution for pest control in agricultural environments.
