PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING (PJBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI SISWA MELALUI AKTIVITAS KEBUGARAN JASMANI DI KELAS X-8 SMA NEGERI 1 BANJARBARU

Abstract

The low level of teamwork skills and learning outcomes of students in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) class X–8 at SMA Negeri 1 Banjarbaru regarding physical fitness motivated this research. The purpose of this research is to describe how the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is implemented and to assess how it improves students' learning outcomes and collaboration skills. Based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of preparation, action, observation, and reflection phases, the research methodology used is classroom action research. A total of 34 students from class X–8 at SMA Negeri 1 Banjarbaru participated in this research, which was conducted in two cycles throughout the 2025–2026 academic year. Learning outcome assessment and observation were used to collect data, and quantitative and qualitative methods were used for data analysis. The findings show how the Project-Based Learning paradigm can improve students' learning outcomes and teamwork skills. From 11.76% in the pre-cycle to 64.71% in Cycle I and 88.24% in Cycle II, the proportion of mastery of knowledge aspects increased. The percentage of skills mastered increased from 23.53% to 70.59% and 91.18%, respectively. During the learning process, students also became more engaged, confident, and able to work together in teams. Student engagement and enjoyment in learning activities also increased.
