PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA E-BOOK CERMAT (CERDAS MENYIMAK INTERAKTIF) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK MATERI TEKS NARASI PADA SISWA KELAS 3 SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low listening skills of 3rd grade students at SDN Gebang 1 Sidoarjo due to the use of monotonous conventional media where listening skills require a comprehensive information synthesis process. The purpose of this study is to produce a valid, practical and effective Canva-based CERMAT (Smart Interactive Listening) E-book learning media for narrative text material. Using the ADDIE Research and Development (R&D) model, data collection techniques were carried out through validation sheets, response questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the media was very feasible with validation from material experts of 88%, media experts 90%, and teaching modules 96%. This media is also very practical (student responses 89.08% and teachers 95%) and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The results of qualitative interview analysis supported these findings, where respondents assessed the material as having high accuracy, appropriate curriculum suitability, practical features, and proven to stimulate students' listening focus. In conclusion, the CERMAT E-book media has proven to be valid, very practical, and effective in improving elementary school students' listening skills.
