Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the use of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) learning media on the learning motivation of 5-6 year-old children at Azzahra Kandangan Kindergarten. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with 32 children and two class teachers as subjects. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of IFP contributed to the emergence of learning motivation indicators, including an increase in the frequency of children asking questions (an average of 12-15 questions per session), active participation in learning activities (20 of the 32 children directly touched the screen), and persistence in completing activities (83% of children tried again after failure). This study concluded that IFP can be a supporting medium for fostering children's learning motivation, but a causal impact could not be proven in a qualitative design.
