PEMANFAATAN MEDIA ULAR TANGGA BERBASIS DIGITAL DENGAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT TERHADAP KEAKTIFAN MURID KELAS III PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SDN DUKUH KUPANG V SURABAYA

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of student activeness in IPAS learning on the topic of the influence of landforms on cultural diversity in class III-A at SDN Dukuh Kupang V Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementantion of digital snakes and ladders learning media integrated with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model, students learning activities, and their responses to the use of the media. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, student response questionnaires, and documentation. The findings showed that the implementation of digital snakes and ladders learning media integrated with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model wa able to create an active and enjoyable learnig environment. Observation result indicated an increase in student activeness from 84% to 92%. Interview result revealed that students felt happier, more motivated, and found it easier to understand the learning materials. In addition, the students response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 91% which was categorized as very good. Therefore, digital snakes and ladders learning media integrated with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model can be used as an alternative learning medium to improve student activeness in IPAS learning at the elementary school level.
