PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN AUGMENTED REALITY PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS UPAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SDN 09 RANGKANG

This study was motivated by the low interest in learning among fourth-grade students at SDN 09 Rangkang in the IPAS subject. The learning process was still dominated by conventional methods using textbooks and lectures, causing students to become passive, less focused, and less enthusiastic during classroom activities. This study aimed to improve students’ learning interest through the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in IPAS learning. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages conducted in cycles. The subjects of this study were 31 fourth-grade students of SDN 09 Rangkang in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques used observation and questionnaires. Observation was conducted to assess the implementation of learning activities, while questionnaires were used to measure students’ learning interest based on indicators of enjoyment, attraction, focus and attention, and active participation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The implementation of Augmented Reality media is expected to create a more interactive, engaging, and meaningful learning atmosphere, thereby increasing students’ learning interest in IPAS subjects.
