Abstract

This research is motivated by the low religious character values ​​of some students, which are indicated by a lack of discipline in worship, low honesty, and lack of participation in religious activities at school. This study aims to determine the creative process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling religious character values ​​in students, identify supporting and inhibiting factors faced by teachers, and describe teacher creativity in developing and implementing Islamic Spiritual Activities (Rohis) at Muara Kulam State Junior High School. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of the principal, PAI teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the creativity of PAI teachers in instilling religious character values ​​is carried out through understanding the values ​​to be instilled, creative learning design, providing role models, habituating religious activities, linking material to real life, and evaluating student attitudes and behavior. Supporting factors include good teacher competence, school support, availability of infrastructure, and the Rohis program. Inhibiting factors include the influence of the social environment, low motivation among some students, and limited supervision outside of school. Rohis activities play a crucial role in strengthening the instillation of religious values ​​through various religious activities that encourage the development of students' character of faith, discipline, honesty, and responsibility.
