PENGARUH MODEL PEMBALAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VI DI SEKOLAH SD NEGERI 106805 MANUNGGAL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 106805 Manunggal. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 76 sixth-grade students, with a sample of 50 students comprising 23 students in the experimental class and 27 students in the control class. Data were collected through observation, pretest-posttest tests, and documentation. Data analysis involved tests of validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and the Independent Samples T-Test. The research instrument consisted of 10 valid and reliable essay questions, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.712 > 0.60 on the pretest and 0.836 > 0.60 on the posttest. The results indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 106805 Manunggal.
