PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA SMART BOX BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PANCASILA SISWA KELAS V MI SALAFIYAH

This research was motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of students in Pancasila subjects due to teacher-centered learning and the lack of innovative learning media. This study aimed to develop a local wisdom-based Smart Box learning media that is valid, practical, and effective for fifth-grade students at MI Salafiyah. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research instruments included media expert validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, learning implementation observation sheets, and pretest-posttest tests. The results showed that material expert validation obtained a percentage of 80% in the feasible category. Media expert validation increased from 82% before revision to 94% after revision in the very feasible category. Student responses obtained a percentage of 94% in the very practical category, while the implementation of learning obtained 92% in the very good category. The average student learning outcomes increased from 56.18 in the pretest to 92.11 in the posttest with an N-Gain score of 0.81 in the high category. Therefore, the local wisdom-based Smart Box media was declared valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Pancasila subjects.
