PENGGUNAAN VIDEO CERITA RAKYAT NUSANTARA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN SIKAP KEBHINEKAAN SISWA KELAS V SDN 192 PEKANBARU

Abstract

This study was motivated by students’ low knowledge of diversity attitudes and the suboptimal use of learning media that support the understanding of diversity values, which remain important issues in Pancasila Education at the elementary school level. This study aimed to determine the effect of using Indonesian folklore video media on the knowledge of diversity attitudes among fifth-grade elementary school students. The study employed a quantitative approach using a True Experimental Design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population consisted of 50 students from SDN 192 Pekanbaru, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through a test instrument that had been validated and tested for reliability. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, Independent Sample T-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 87.46, which was higher than that of the control class at 64.96. The N-Gain results also indicated that the experimental class achieved a high level of improvement.
