IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA INFOGRAFIS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN FIQIH DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH TARBIYAH ISLAMIYAH MUARO JAMBI

Abstract

This thesis is motivated by the low level of students’ understanding in Fiqh learning in class VII B at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tarbiyah Islamiyah Muaro Jambi, which is caused by the use of less varied teaching methods and the limited use of learning media. This study aims to improve students’ understanding through the use of infographic media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kurt Lewin’s model, which was conducted in two cycles consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The population of this study consists of students of MTsS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Muaro Jambi, with the sample being class VII B students. The results of the study show that in Cycle I, 7 out of 20 students (35%) achieved mastery, and in Cycle II, it increased to 16 out of 20 students (80%). This indicates that the use of infographic media can improve students’ understanding, as evidenced by the improvement in learning outcomes and student mastery from the pre-cycle to Cycle II. In addition, students’ learning activities and motivation also increased. Thus, it can be concluded that infographic media is effective in improving students’ understanding in Fiqh learning
