Abstract

This study aims to explore the needs for children’s storybook learning media in Pancasila Education learning through Project Based Learning (PjBL) in elementary school. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, focusing on the analyze stage. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Karet 04 Pagi involving third-grade elementary school students as research subjects. Data collection was carried out using a needs analysis questionnaire with a four-level Likert scale consisting of Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis by calculating the average score of each statement item. The findings revealed that students require engaging, interactive, and visually appealing learning media that involve direct learning activities. Students showed high interest in learning activities involving stories, visual illustrations, and project-based activities such as coloring, making posters, and group assignments. The results indicate that the development of children’s storybook learning media through Project Based Learning is relevant to support Pancasila Education learning in elementary schools. The developed media is expected to create a more active, meaningful, and student-centered learning process.
