STRATEGI GURU PAI DALAM MENANAMKAN ETIKA BERBICARA SISWA UNTUK MEMBENTUK BUDAYA KOMUNIKASI ISLAMI DI SMPN 14 KOTA JAMBI

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling an Islamic communication culture in students at SMP Negeri 14 in Jambi City and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results showed that Islamic Religious Education teachers instilled an Islamic communication culture through role models and the habit of using polite, courteous, honest, and gentle language in daily interactions. The success of this strategy was supported by a religious school environment, clear rules, and the active role of teachers, while obstacles came from the influence of social media, social circles, and the family environment. Thus, the instillation of an Islamic communication culture was successful, but still requires family support so that these values ​​are consistently applied by students.
