PENGEMBANGAN MATERI AJAR TEKS PROSEDUR BERBANTUAN APLIKASI CANVA PADA SISWA KELAS VII

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for procedural texts, product forms assisted by the Canva application and to determine the level of feasibility of the developed teaching materials for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan. The research method used is research and development (R&D) by adapting the Borg and Gall model which is simplified into five stages. The method used is research and development (R&D) of the Borg and Gall model with five stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and product revision. The resulting product is a teaching material for procedural texts assisted by the Canva application which is presented visually, attractively, and interactively as a learning medium. The product results are then validated by material experts and media experts. Based on the results of material validation, the developed teaching materials obtained a score of 97.7% in the very feasible category, and media expert validation with a score of 90.9 in the very feasible category for use as teaching materials for Indonesian language learning.  The developed teaching materials include the definition of procedural text, objectives, structure, linguistic rules, text examples, exercises, and attractive visual presentations to help increase students' interest and motivation to learn. Based on the overall validation results and the feasibility of the teaching materials presented, the Canva application-assisted procedural text teaching materials for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pangaribuan are of very good quality and can be used as teaching materials.
