STRATEGI GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENGATASI AKHLAK MAZMUMAH DI KALANGAN PELAJAR SMA: KAJIAN LITERATUR

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers in addressing students’ reprehensible morals (akhlak mazmumah) at the senior high school level through a literature review. Akhlak mazmumah refers to behaviors that contradict Islamic values and educational norms, including indiscipline, academic dishonesty, weak respect for teachers, gadget misuse, and risky behaviors. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. The data were collected from books, journal articles, and previous studies related to moral development, Islamic Religious Education teacher strategies, character education, and adolescent behavior. The analysis was conducted through source identification, data reduction, thematic classification, synthesis of findings, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the most prominent strategies include religious habituation, teacher role modeling, integration of moral values into learning, personal guidance, educative discipline, collaboration with parents, and reinforcement through religious extracurricular activities. The effectiveness of these strategies is influenced by school policy support, religious culture, teacher competence, family supervision, and students’ peer environment. The study emphasizes that addressing akhlak mazmumah requires an integrated, continuous, and collaborative approach involving schools, families, and communities.
