PENGEMBANGAN FLIP MODUL PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATERI PRINSIP DAN APLIKASI KIMIA HIJAU DALAM KEHIDUPAN NYATA UNTUK MURID SMA

A flip module is a module that resembles a real book with page-turning features. It is designed comprehensively and systematically and can be supplemented with audio, video, and animations to visualize the presented material, making it accessible flexibly anywhere and anytime. In green chemistry, students are expected to understand the concepts of green chemistry and connect its principles and applications to real life. The CTL approach is a learning approach that connects learning materials to real life. This study aims to identify the process of developing a learning flip module on the principles and applications of green chemistry in real life for high school students, to determine the feasibility of the developed instructional materials based on input from subject matter experts, media and instructional material writing experts, practitioners, as well as student feedback, and its impact on students’ conceptual understanding. The development of the flipped learning module utilized the ADDIE model. The research instruments employed included interview guidelines and questionnaires. The developed product was validated by subject matter experts and experts in media and instructional design, evaluated by teachers, and subsequently tested in a small-group pilot study. The data analysis techniques used included qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the flipped learning module on the principles and real-life applications of green chemistry for high school students received a “Very Appropriate” rating from subject matter experts and instructional design experts, with an average score of 4.5; a teacher evaluation score of 4.6 in the “Highly Feasible” category, as well as student responses with a 93.1% rate in the “Very Good” category and a student conceptual understanding rate of 86.5%. Based on the development process and research results, it is concluded that the flipped learning module on the principles and applications of green chemistry in real life is theoretically and practically suitable for use as one of the instructional materials in green chemistry and has the potential to help improve students’ conceptual understanding.
