Sport is a physical activity that not only aims to improve physical health but also plays a vital role in shaping values and culture in society. Through sport, individuals can learn discipline, cooperation, sportsmanship, responsibility, and a spirit of unity. Furthermore, sport is also a part of culture that reflects the identity of a society or nation. This article discusses the relationship between sport, values, and culture and their influence on social life. The method used in this article is a literature review, examining various scientific sources related to the sociology of sport. The results of the discussion indicate that sport can be a medium for character formation as well as a means of preserving local and national culture.
