PENGARUH MANAJEMEN LAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KINERJA PERPUSTAKAAN TERHADAP LITERASI SISWA DI SMAN 1 REJANG LEBONG

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of service management and library performance on the literacy of students at SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong. This research is a field study employing a quantitative approach. The type of research used is associative research with a causal (explanatory research) approach. The respondents in this study were eleventh-grade students of SMAN 1 Rejang Lebong, consisting of 12 classes selected randomly. The sample included 3 classes with 15 respondents each and 9 classes with 16 respondents each. There were two independent variables, namely service management (X1) and library performance (X2), while student literacy served as the dependent variable (Y). The data were analyzed using SPSS version 23. The t-test results showed that variable X1 had a significance value of 0.000, while variable X2 had a significance value of 0.010. Furthermore, the F-test (simultaneous test) produced a significance value of 0.000. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that both partially and simultaneously, variables X1 and X2 have a significant influence on student literacy (Y), as all significance values are below 0.05.
