IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI UPT SMA NEGERI 12 WAJO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the entrepreneurship program at UPT SMA Negeri 12 Wajo, the entrepreneurial values that have been fostered, and the factors influencing its success. The method used is a qualitative, descriptive approach employing observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the entrepreneurship program has proceeded quite well through its integration into the Arts and Crafts and Entrepreneurship (PKWU) curriculum, extracurricular activities, and student self-development. Learning activities are conducted in a varied and contextual manner, such as case studies, business projects, simulations, and hands-on practice based on local potential. This program has also proven effective in fostering entrepreneurial values among students, such as independence, creativity, leadership, responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and business ethics. However, the program’s implementation still faces several challenges, including limited facilities and infrastructure, insufficient funding, and a lack of teachers’ competencies in entrepreneurship guidance. Furthermore, the integration of the program has not been comprehensive across all subjects. Therefore, policy reinforcement, teacher capacity building, and the development of more systematic and sustainable programs are necessary to ensure that the implementation of entrepreneurship runs more optimally and has a broad impact on students’ readiness to enter the workforce or start their own businesses.
