DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATION: CHALLENGES AND STRATEGIC INSIGHTS FROM UNIVERSITAS SRAGEN

Transformasi digital telah menjadi prioritas utama dalam sektor pendidikan tinggi untuk mengembangkan metode dan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih maju, efektif, dan relevan dengan misi institusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi fenomena transformasi digital pada konteks universitas baru melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam (in-depth interviews) semi-terstruktur dengan 12 informan yang terdiri dari pimpinan dan dosen di Universitas Sragen. Analsisi data menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa universitas baru menghadapi tantangan kompleks yang bersifat teknis maupun fundamental dalam mempersiapkan transisi digital. Ditemukan tujuh tantangan utama, yaitu: perubahan pola pikir, usia, waktu yang lama untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi, kesalahpahaman akan transformasi digital, kurangnya sosialisasi program, kurangnya infrastuktur IT dan biaya yang besar. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merumuskan lima strategi strategis yang meliputi: manajemen kepemimpinan, indivualisasi, melakukan pembuatan sistem kinerja yang baru, melakukan upgrade infrastruktur, dan menggunakan teknologi pihak ketiga.
