Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the understanding of electrical concepts in sixth-grade students of SDIT Gameel Akhlaq. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The focus of the analysis refers to the five indicators of conceptual understanding according to Murtiyasa & Sari, (2022).The results show that the electrical circuit home project activity encourages students to build knowledge actively and contextually. Students can restate concepts in their own language, classify components, represent them through pictures and models, and relate and apply concepts in everyday life. The PjBL model has been shown to improve conceptual understanding through direct and collaborative experiences.
