PENGGUNAAN MEDIA MAGIC BERBASIS GAMIFIKASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP PADA MATERI SISTEM PERNAPASAN MANUSIA DI KELAS V

The problem in this study is due to the low learning outcomes of fifth grade
students who only focus on open books when learning without the help of media.
The problem in this study is how the application of MAGIC media can improve
student learning outcomes in understanding the concept of science of fifth grade
students of SDN Cibeureum Hilir CBM, Sukabumi City. This study is a classroom
action research (CAR) which aims to determine the process and results of the
application of MAGIC media in science learning on the material of the human
respiratory system. Data collection techniques used are observation, testing and
documentation. The subjects in this study were class teachers and students
totaling 30 people consisting of 14 women and 16 men. This study was conducted
with two research cycles. In the learning cycle I, the results of the study showed an
average result in understanding the concept of science of 66.8 and the percentage
of completeness of the learning test results was 40%. In cycle II, the results of the
study on learning with MAGIC media showed an average value of 80 with a
percentage of completeness of learning outcomes of 80%. The conclusion of this
study is that the application of MAGIC media in understanding science concepts
can improve the learning process and results in understanding science concepts
of class V students at SDN Cibeureum Hilir CBM, Sukabumi City.
