Vina Albarsyah, The Influence of the STAD Learning Model on the Learning of Straight
Kick Techniques in Pencak Silat for Grade VII Students at SMP Negeri 1 Cabangungin.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the STAD learning model on the
learning of straight kick techniques of pencak silat students in class VII at SMP Negeri 1
Cabangungin. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with an
experimental research method. The sample in this study was students of SMP Negeri 1
Cabangbungin Class VII H totaling 41 students. The research sample used a purposive
sampling technique and the research design used one group pretest-posttest
The research instrument used an assessment of the stages of the straight kick technique
consisting of the initial position, the implementing position, the form of the straight kick
and the final position. The results of the study obtained from the pretest data had an
average value of 68.24 and the post-test value had an average of 72.90. The results of the
paired sample t-test analysis with the data obtained were a sig value (two tailed) of 0.000
<0.05, so HO was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an
influence of the STAD learning model on the learning of straight kick techniques for class
