Abstract

Quality education determines the creation of a superior product or human being who can compete in the era of globalization. One of them is in the quality of mathematics education. Mathematics learning should be able to provide provisions to further develop the quality of students. The majority of students think that mathematics is a difficult subject. In overcoming student difficulties, what needs to be done is to use the right media that can help students understand mathematical concepts so that student learning outcomes can improve. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. The method used is a Quasi Experiments type experiment. After the implementation of the PBL model assisted by Word Wall, there was an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes, this was because during the learning process using the PBL model, students seemed more active in solving problems in the questions given, plus with the help of Word Wall media, students could play while learning in solving the questions given. Student learning activities are classified as very good in PBL learning assisted by Word Wall.
