This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Dr. Soetomo V Surabaya in the topic of data collection and presentation. The background of this research is the low level of student interest and participation in conventional learning, indicating the need for innovation through more engaging and effective teaching methods. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. Data were collected through observation and student achievement tests. The results showed an improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the TGT model. The percentage of class mastery increased from 87% in the first cycle to 91% in the second cycle. The average student score also increased from 87 to 89.5. Therefore, the implementation of the TGT model proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes. This model also created a more enjoyable, competitive, and collaborative learning environment, making it highly relevant for teaching Mathematics at the elementary school level.Downloads
