PENGARUH EKSTRAKURIKULER ROHISTERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 32 MAKASSAR

Abstract

  This study analyzes the influence of extracurricular Rohis activities on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP Negeri 32 Makassar. Using a quantitative correlational approach, this study investigates the relationship between three Rohis activity variables—routine religious studies (X1), blessed Friday activities (X2), and Islamic holiday celebrations (X3)—with the learning motivation variable (Y). The study population consisted of 30 students. The results of the analysis showed a significant partial effect. Variable X1 (routine religious studies) showed a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05), with a calculated t value (5.645) which was greater than the t table (1.705), and an effective contribution of 41.03%. Likewise, variable X2 (blessed Friday) showed a significance of 0.030 (p < 0.05), calculated t (2.782) > t table (1.705), and an effective contribution of 16.02%. Variable X3 (celebration of Islamic holidays) is also significant (p = 0.046 < 0.05), with t count (1.821) > t table (1.705) and an effective contribution of 5.76%. The simultaneous F test produced a significant F count value (27.177) (F count > F table; 27.177 > 2.98), indicating a significant overall influence. Overall, Rohis extracurricular activities have a strong influence on students' learning motivation (R² = 62.8%), while the remaining 37.2% is influenced by other factors that have not been studied. This finding highlights the important role of Rohis extracurricular activities in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects. Further research needs to consider other factors that also influence students' learning motivation.
