Abstract

Contextual Learning (CTL) is learning that links material to students' real-world situations, and encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and applications in everyday life. Through ethnoscience, students' real experiences are obtained from combining scientific knowledge with local culture. This study aims to present a literature review of ethnoscience integration in the CTL learning model in science learning to improve critical thinking for elementary school students. The research method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting and reviewing articles related to the integration of ethnoscience with CTL learning published from 2020-2025. The articles used in this study were 5 journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database and international journals. Based on this study, the integration of ethnoscience in the CTL learning model in science learning can improve critical thinking for elementary school students
