IMPLEMENTASI NILAI TRI HITA KARANA SEBAGAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI PEMBIASAAN DI SD NO.4 TUBAN

The purpose of this research is to examine the implementation of Tri Hita Karana values as character education through children's habituation at SD No. 4 Tuban. Tri Hita Karana, a philosophical concept of life from the Balinese community in Indonesia, emphasizes harmony between humans and God, humans and others, and humans and the environment. In the context of education, these values can serve as a foundation for shaping students' good character from an early age. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including surveis through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The study shows that the implementation of Tri Hita Karana values at SD No. 4 Tuban has effectively shaped children's character through habituation in various activities, such as environment-based learning, the introduction of spiritual values, and strengthening collaboration among students. Moreover, positive behaviors such as mutual respect, environmental care, and regular worship have also been successfully instilled. Despite challenges in the activities, solutions such as improving teacher competencies, providing additional mentoring, and enhancing collaboration have been proposed to address these issues. This research is expected to contribute to the development of character education in elementary schools and encourage the integration of local cultural values into the learning process. These efforts aim to enhance the understanding of Tri Hita Karana values and foster awareness and habituation in students.Downloads
